"Prayer Devourer, Lilitrion Aureus Orans"
A lesser specimen of the Lilitrion aureus species. Lurking in the corners of decaying sanctuaries, feeding on faith. They know well—in this age bereft of gods, prayers wander the void, seeking new vessels. 'Tis said their golden plating grows more radiant each night, nourished by pilfered grace.
With emerald eyes that peer deep, purple-blue tresses swaying gently, they perform minor miracles. To the sick, healing; to the lost, guidance. Yet these are not true blessings. Ere long, the faithful's prayers reach not the heavens, but flow instead into those of golden skin.
From a nameless pilgrim's journal:
"Met a golden maiden in the chapel. Since then, my prayers dissolve into mist. Yet somehow, my heart feels fulfilled."
