Yurasoran Language
“They sing in words not their own, as if awakening memories long forgotten.”
――From ‘Third Observation Report’
Overview
The Yurasoran Language is an unknown language used by Automitons when they sing. Distinctly different from their own communication language, the origin and purpose of why they sing in this language remains unknown.
This language is emitted as normal sound audible to external beings, but much of its meaning and grammatical structure remains undeciphered.
Discovery
The first records began with witnessing Automitons singing what appeared to be songs. They are extremely exclusive toward species other than their own, making it rare to witness them singing. However, their singing has been occasionally observed since then.
Normally, Automiton communication occurs through special sound waves that only they can perceive, not something external beings can recognize as voice. Nevertheless, when they sing, these songs are emitted in a clearly audible form.
Research revealed, surprisingly, that these songs are not in the Automitons’ own language, but in an unknown language. Why they sing songs in this unknown language remains a mystery.
Phonetic Features (Provisional)
Features identified thus far:
- Basic Phonemes: Estimated 5 vowels, approximately 14 consonants
- Syllable Structure: Based on open syllables, with closed syllables ending in nasals also present
- Frequency Layers: Information may be contained outside human audible range
However, these are merely speculation from limited samples, and the actual phonological system may be far more complex.
Vocabulary (Estimated)
Several repeatedly occurring elements have been identified in sound patterns extracted from Memory Crystals:
- yura: Related to wind or movement?
- sora: Spatial concept?
- kari: Silence, state of rest?
These interpretations are contextual speculation and not definitive.
Unsolved Mysteries
- Origin: Where did this language come from?
- Purpose: Why do Automitons sing in this unknown language?
- Acquisition: How did they come to know this language?
- Selectivity: Why use this language only for singing, not regular communication?
- Meaning: What do the lyrics express?

Research Notes
When Automitons sing in this language, observers report seeing an emotion rarely displayed—something akin to nostalgia crosses their features. As if tracing memories of a lost homeland.
Though this language appears “foreign” even to them, it may hold profound significance.
