Fusion Continent

Overview

A continent formed of countless stars that drew each other close, becoming one through aeons untold. This is Abysion. In the continent’s deepest reaches, it is said that a black core sleeps, harboring the secrets of creation.

Planetary Fusion

At first, seven stars traced gentle orbits as they approached, eventually repeating cycles of collision and resonance.

In the process of atmospheres mingling, eternal cloud seas were born in the heavens above, rendering even the distinction between day and night ambiguous.

The “Star Shell Zones” that run across the surface are traces where the ley lines of each star twisted, imperfectly joining seas and mountain ranges that refuse to meld.

The names of the lost seven stars remain only faintly in the priests’ epitaphs, and it is told that the will of the god Severa, who guided the fusion, was sealed within the “Star Cocoon.”

Lore

It is said that the god Severa performed the rite of fusion to bind together the scattered worlds.

The Amalgam Stones born in the process of fusion became the keystone allowing magic and machinery to coexist.

Ancient texts record that in the moment of Abysion’s birth, many races perished, and those who remained built new civilizations.

The fault lines that remain throughout the continent are said to be remnants of what were once separate stars.
